Freedom to Explore
Many people have dreamt of sailing the world, spending their time cruising between historic ports and tropical islands. Previously, however, living on a boat required significant compromises in comfort compared to living on land. Many people love the idea of exploring the world but don't want to live in a cramped and humid boat without access to all the ammenities they have become accustomed to. These limitation meant that for most, this lifestyle remained nothing more than a dream. At LiberArx, our mission is to provide an alternative: a no-compromises houseyacht that allows you to explore the world while requiring minimal effort to operate and providing all the comforts you'd expect from a modern apartment. LiberArx is your floating home and your key to living the life you've always dreamed of!
LiberArx is a revolutionary platform perfect for those seeking the ultimate in freedom. Whether you view yourself as a sovereign individual, a digital nomad, or just someone who likes to explore without limits, LiberArx is designed with you in mind. Unlike other yachts which are designed first and foremost as a boat, LiberArx was desgined from the ground up as a floating home and feels more like a waterfront house than a boat. Recognizing that most time aboard will be spent stationary, LiberArx is optimized first and foremost for comfort aboard focusing on large open spaces and residential style furnishings. LiberArx is powered by a large solar array and electric motors, providing both simplified mobility as well as abundant power for life aboard.
More than just a product, however, LiberArx is seeking to build a global community of like-minded individuals. We passionately believe that this project will change the world and therefore intend to release the full designs to the community as an open source project. Our goal is not just to sell products, but rather to empower individuals and enable maximal freedom. We envision LiberArx becoming the most widely produced yacht in history. In order to achieve this, our goal is not to charge the highest possible price to maximize profit margins but rather to drive down costs through mass manufacturing and enable access for the masses in the same way that Ford did for the automobile. Moreover we intend to make live-aboard cruising accessible to not just those with years of sailing experience but to the average person who desires freedom. That is to say, our goal is to do for the yachting industry what Raspberry Pi has done for the computing industry.
